Scallops are similar to crab or lobster taste-wise but they have a firmer texture. The flavor tends to be sweet, buttery, and delicate. When cooked correctly, many believe scallops are the most delicious of all seafood. These come vacuum sealed and frozen.
Perfect scallops have a golden brown hard sear on both sides. We like them finished with Market Whipped Roasted Garlic Butter, a squeeze of Lemon and fresh Parsley. Protip: Make sure these are fully thawed before cooking and be sure not to over-salt them because they already have the wonderful salty flavour of the sea.
