We are so proud to work with Heritage Cattle. They produce locally grown, grass-fed, heritage beef without added hormones or antibiotics. All their cattle are free-range, with lots of Peterborough County pasture to roam on. The pasture is made up of mixed grasses and legumes, which provide them a full range of nutrients and minerals. This old fashioned way of farming might be a little more work for them, but they say it's worth it! And once you taste their full of flavour, tender, and healthy grass-fed beef, you'll be thankful they did. All their beef is dry-aged. It is fresh-frozen after a two to three week dry-aging process to ensure maximum tenderness and flavour.
